“Roar, China” showcases the history of suffering and struggle of the Chinese people during the 14 years of resistance against Japanese aggression, particularly highlighting the pivotal role of the anti-Japanese base areas led by the Communist Party of China.  These historical woodcuts, articulated in powerful artistic expression, compose the epic of the Chinese people’s struggle that is as majestic as the mountains and rivers of China.
